Vodafone K.K. announced it will release the V402SH by Sharp, which features a built-in analog TV tuner, starting July 24 in Japan. The V402SH features a 180 degree reversible "Swivel Style" LCD screen that allows customers to watch TV broadcasts while the handset is closed. The screen is 2.2-inch QVGA System LCD and a front-side speaker. In addition, the V402SH comes with an embedded mobile camera that can capture 1.30 effective megapixels.

Built-in analog TV tuner The V402SH features an analog TV tuner that makes it easy to view TV shows while away from home. Simple operations allow customers to turn the TV on and alternate between vertical and horizontal views with just the touch of a button. In addition, users can enjoy watching TV without worry as the V402SH can confirm received calls or e-mails quickly while it is in TV mode. The V402SH comes bundled with a stereo earphone microphone with attached TV antenna.
