VIVO and Motorola have launched a trial of Motorola's CDMA2000 1xEV-DO high-speed mobile broadband network solution on the carrier's network in Curitiba, Paraná State. This 3G service will enable subscribers to experience high data rates - at peak speeds of up to 2.4 Megabits per second (Mbps).
VIVO and Motorola also demonstrated the exciting capabilities possible with CDMA during the Winter Festival in Campos do Jordão, Brazil. Festival goers visiting the VIVO booth at this annual event had a first-hand opportunity to enjoy enhanced mobile access via the VIVO network to the Internet and multimedia applications. |
