I’ve never used Amp'd Mobile, but I was a bit surprised to hear that they aren't doing very well. The company is doing so badly that they have decided to file for Chapter 11.

From the sounds of things they spent too much money on marketing and perhaps focused too much on multimedia and forgot to concentrate on the rest.

This doesn’t mean that they are giving up completely, they still have a chance to turn things around and come out ahead. For some reason I’m not going to hold my breath on that one though. I honestly haven’t met anyone that uses the service, are any of you out there going to be affected?
