Willcom has announced a data card for Honda Navi System. The card can be use in the new Honda Navi system and users can subscribe to 'Navi Premium Club' membership to enjoy an unlimited wireless data connection service. The service will begin in February 2006. Only in Japan!
Honda was first announced the development of its "Honda Navigation System" in 1997. The new system featured a "wandering sensing device" with both visual and audible warnings, using information from the navigation system to detect any abnormal driving patterns like when falling asleep at the wheel. This significantly less expensive system, which will be offered in a model scheduled to appear this autumn, also features an internet type two-way communication system called "Inter Navi System". |
