Verizon Wireless and PalmOne Confirmed the Release of Treo 600

Verizon Wireless has begun offering its large business accounts PalmOne's combination cell phone and organizer device, the Treo 600.

This is a follow up article to the "Verizon Wireless and PalmOne™ to announce the arrival of the Treo™ 600 Smartphone" article we released last week.

Verizon Wireless and PalmOne representatives confirmed Tuesday that Treo 600s had gone on sale the day before, but a date or price for widespread retail and online sales of the devices has not been set.

Consumers will have to wait until until later this month in order to get one. 

The good news is that PalmOne representatives confirmed that the company has shipped devices to Verizon Wireless, but did not disclose the quantity.
