Major flaw with the P900 proposed keypad that flips open to reveal a QWERTY keyboard. Engadget recently reported that MobileBurn feels pretty certain that the new QWERTY keyboard on the next generation P900 code-named "Layla" is legit. I believe there are major flaws in the design. The proposed design incorporates a qwerty keypad behind the numeric keypad which is accessed by flipping down the number keypad similar to an old style 'flip phone'. This doesn't make sense because the user would have to over extend their thumbs just to peck on the keypad. Have a look at my brief layout of the P900, and you will find that it makes the most sense to have the keypad towards the bottom of the device "attached" to the unit.
The other solution is to flip the keypad down, rotate it 180 degree and then close it upwards. This would then expose the QWERTY keypad facing out where I currently have it in the picture. Lastly, anyone with fingers will have a problem using this keypad on the new P900. Unlike the Treo 600 or the early prototype of the iPAQ 6300, the keys actually lowered into the pad instead of being raised up.

The other scenario is to hold the keypad but that won't work because it's too flimsy and isn't designed to support the device.
