High Tech Computer (HTC) Corp. announced the launch of the world's smallest smartphone, SPV-500, which is currently marketed in Europe through UK-based telecom carrier Orange, according to company's executive.
In addition to the SPV-C500 smartphone, HTC will unveil another smartphone, the Xda III, by year-end. The company has also started mass production of CDMA PDA phones in China and extended cooperation with Chinese distribution channels of China Unicom to promote CDMA PDA phones. Also on the production HTC's schedule is the Motorola’s iDEN (integrated Digital Enhanced Network) wireless handsets, reportedly designed by HTC, will enter mass production by year-end.
