AnexTEK SP230 is GSM Tri-Band Pocket PC Phone with a sleek new dsign incorporating a numeric keypad on the outside flip. A visitor sent me an email last night wondering why we didn't have anything about the AnexTEK SP230 on our site. Smartfone.net must of missed the release of this device sometime back February. Anyways, the SP230 seems like a very solid unit with all the standard features. It runs Microsoft Pocket PC Phone 2003 and has a 3.5" TFT LCD screen, capable of displaying 240x320 pixels and 65,000 colours. I am happy to see that AnexTEK gave the SP230 a relatively large battery. It has a 1480mAh battery which technically should last 12 hours when playing MP3 with the screen turned off. However battery life is around 3 to 5 hours if you use it mainly as a phone. Standbye time is around 100 to 150 hours. PocketPCReviews did a full review of the SP230 back in February. It's definitely worth reading if you are planning on buying this device. The SP2300 cost roughly $785. This device is not available for US customers. |
