Mio A700 will soon be available at China and Taiwan in mid December. The pda phone runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and has pre-installed maps of major city in China and Taiwan. Maps of US and Europe will be available in Q1 2006.

Some of the cool features include

• Over 200 cities of China and Taiwan is pre-installed. Information about banks, shopping center, restaurants, hotels ... etc are available too
• SMS your location: you can send your location to another Mio A700 GPS pda phone user like sending a sms. The other party can know your location when they receive your location message in their A700. The pda phone can even plan a route for the recepient to reach you since the GPS phone and maps are built in.
• Emergency Button: When you are in danger, you can press and hold a button for 6 secs to send your current location to a preset list of target.

other than the features above, the phone has 1.3 megapixel camera, up to 4 hours talk time and 200 hours standby time, sd/mmc slot, pocket office applications and all the standard pocket pc features.
