Bringing wireless connectivity and multimedia abilities to its newly developed M500 product family, E-TEN introduces the E-TEN M500. The E-TEN M500 delivers wireless capabilities, a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera and running windows mobile 2003 second edition OS.

A built in quad-band GSM/GPRS module provides wide area network connectivity. Users can access any network while they are on the move to refer to or update databases in their office, receive and send e-mail, and browse the Internet. Bluetooth wireless technology allows for fast data transfer without the need for cables or wires. A built-in speakerphone function enables hands-free talking.

The E-TEN M500's innovative new design features a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera enabling users to capture images and video clips anytime and anywhere, and can be saved within the 130 MB of user accessible memory or onto SD type expansion cards. A built-in flash light and 4x zoom function enables you to hold onto that special moment whenever you want.

Other new M500 features include a fast 400 MHz Samsung 2440 processor that provides excellent multimedia and game performance. 64 Polyphonic and MP3 ring tones, 5-way navigation key for one-handed operation are included as well. Other helpful accessories include the car kit – a very flexible and simple to install solution, providing you a hands-free option for the times when you are on the road. It also supports the Bluetooth headset.

The E-TEN M500 has been awarded the iF Award 2005 for Design in the category of Product Design / Consumer Electronics / Tele-communications. iF is regarded as one of the most important design competitions worldwide, attracting over 2,322 entries from 31 different countries just in this year (2005).
