After 8 years of waiting, the blackberry service has obtained the permission to enter the China market, reported on AFP. Last year, RIM had again announced the service agreement with China Mobile to offer blackberry service in China. According to the previous announcement, RIM and China Mobile will initially focus on supporting multinational corporations with operations in China. China Mobile will soon offer BlackBerry service nationwide and provide SIM cards to support BlackBerry service. Availability of BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds and BlackBerry Enterprise Server will be announced at a later date. Blackberry 8700g will be the first blackberry device that will be available end of August with a price tag of around 700 USD. |
