Sharp is planning a cheaper range of Danger Hiptop according to FCC database.

According to phonescoop, the upcoming Danger Hiptop messaging phone has a model name Sharp PV-150. It is a stripped down version compare to SideKick 3 (PV-200). The phone will support GSM tri-band phone, thank god it is 850/1800/1900 which means you will be able to use it in US. Detail info is not available yet, FCC database will only reveal more info after mid-April.
