Presentation is everything to Apple (Steve). When I think of Apple products, two words come to mind, simplicity and elegant. In recent years, I can't think of a single product that apple has released that?s not jaw dropping gorgeous with mega sex appeal. That's why I think it's brilliant of Apple to use zirconia as a casing for the forthcoming iPhone and other mobile products. Zirconia is a poor man?s diamond. But in the case (no pun intended) of an iPhone or iPod, it's a gem not found anywhere else!

Apple filed the patent application NO. 20060268528 in August with the U.S. patent and Trademark Office for what's described as a device that combines a mobile phone and a music player and goes into great details to describe the nature of the casing and its "radio transparency". So what does all this "radio transparency" mumbo jumbo means to you as consumer? Possibly much better cell reception thanks to its capacity to let radio waves, which power cell phone transmissions, pass through the casing's element.

For anyone out there still doubting the existence or reality of the iPhone, check again because it's all real.
