Vodafone K.K., formerly J-Phone Co. Ltd announced the development of five new cellphones due to release this summer.

V402SH

The V402SH is manufactured by Sharp.  It includes features such as a built-in 
terrestrial analog TV tuner.  Watch television programming wherever you want on the 
2.2-inch QVGA LCD high-quality.  Seem you get the best of both worlds since you can 
list to FM radio broadcasting by using the analog TV tuner!

The V402SH weighs 129g and has a dimension of 50 by 98 by 26.5mm when the device is folded.  It features a 'swivel style' design permitting the LCD screen to be 
reversed 180 degrees.  The reverse screen lets you watch TV horizontally on the 
large screen while the handset is closed.  You will find that there is a CCD camera 
that can record 1.30 million effective pixels and the reversible LCD screen can be 
used as a viewfinder when the device is closed.

Don't expect the handset to hit the market until after late July 2004.
