Interesting mobile services announced in Korea.

Mobile phone is the easiest and fastest way to reach consumer at any time. Recently, there are 2 new mobile services annoucned in Korea.

Hyundai department store creates coupon images for mobile phone, and all coupons are available online through wireless connection. Targeting at young consumers, the department store is also sending the coupons directly to 300k customers. Users can forward coupons to their friends and enjoy the same discount too.

Another services called "Mobile Sommelier", where you need a camera mobile phone to "read" a hot code on wine bottle to get information from server. Information includes wine variety, well-matched food, history and promotion events will be provided once the server received the code. The telco, KTF, plans to make 700 hot codes for wines in suuper market.
