KDDI and Okinawa Cellular are pleased to announce that cumulative downloads EZ "Chaku Uta Full", part of the au mobile phone service provided by KDDI, surpassed 5 million on April 3, 2005. The EZ "Chaku Uta Full" service, launched on November 19, 2004, its millionth download in January, 2005, 2 millionth download in February, and 3rd and 4th millionth downloads in March.
Tracks on EZ "Chaku-Uta Full" cost approximately 300 Yen. Listeners can preview songs for free and then purchase them for direct download to their mobile handset. Tracks can also be moved to removable memory cards on enabled handsets to increase the size of the listener's library. In addition to general listening, downloaded tracks can also be set as ringtones on the user's phone. Currently, 7 handsets from Toshiba, Hitachi, Sanyo, Casio and Kyocera support the EZ "Chaku-Uta Full" service, and it will be a standard feature in all future CDMA 1x WIN handsets. |

EZ "Chaku Uta Full" is a music download service through which an entire song can be downloaded directly onto a mobile handset. With a maximum download speed of 2.4 Mbps via CDMA 1X WIN technology. 24 websites are now supporting EZ "Chaku Uta Full" with access to approximately 22,000 songs. Supporting sites and available songs are scheduled to be steadily increased.
