MobileLocate has launched the tracking service to enable businesses to track workers in the field via their mobile phones, with locations either displayed on a map via the user's PC or texted to a nominated mobile.

The service will be available on Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange and 02 and costs under ¡ê1 per month per phone. MobileLocate also runs the recently launched ChildLocate, a similar service aimed at parents who want to find out where their children are.

There are few ways to do the tracking:

2. Locate via Text Messaging 
3. Send Text Messages to many via the web

The monthly subscription package includes:

• £5.00 per month
• Register up to 5 mobile phones  
• Cost per additional mobile - 50p per month
• Includes 10 Location Requests per month
• Includes 10 Text Messages per month
• Cost per additional location request - 17p
• Cost per additional text message - 5p
