Available from November 1, 2007 to February 1, 2008, the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the AT&T 8525 can be downloaded from the HTC website.

While the ROM upgrade will install the latest Windows Mobile 6 to your pocket pc phone, Good Mobile Messaging is not supported on the AT&T 8525 with Windows Mobile 6. Good Mobile Messaging users are advised not to upgrade the firmware at this time but download a copy of the update file first.
