Since the first day I have my first pda, I like to learn new things I can do with my pda. For example, surfing net in the toilet ... ;) With all pocket messengers, we will never feel lonely no matter where we are. And now, we can have even better way of communication with this.

Like MSN, skype has windows and pocket pc version, free of charge. Compare to MSN, we often face the problem when we are behind firewall or router. The voice always could not get through with MSN. System Requirements:

• Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 Operating System
• WiFi and 400 MHz processor

(New version has been released on 13th May 2004. There are users reported that it cause problem to Dell Axim X5, so please back up your data if you are using this model)

After the usual installation, make sure you are connected to WiFi. You need to accept the license agreement during the first time you launch pocketskype. Key in your user id and it will start connecting...

This is the screen after you login successfully. You can use "Find a Contact" to search for users.

Your contacts list

To make a call, just select the contact and press on the green call button. Isn't it simple?

Start talking! There is a timer to show how long is the conversation. In the future you can see your friends' picture instead of the "mystery black guy".

Just press on the red hang up button when you want to end the call.

All the call records are logged. You can check the logs by selecting the log tab.

Besides voice conversation, you can use it as text instant messenger as well.

Although it is still in beta stage, it works quite well with my HP2210. I can bring my pda and start talking any where in my house!
