Project-a-Phone today launched the ICD-1300 Image Capture and Display system, which enables users to display a live image of a phone screen on a computer, so it can be recorded, shown on a monitor, projected on a screen or shared through the Web. It targets wireless industry professionals in sales, marketing, application development or training functions, advertising agencies that handle mobile media, and law enforcement professionals who capture and demonstrate evidence found on handheld devices.
The ICD-1300 is a lower cost alternative to the ICD-5000. Jeff Hunt, Project-a-Phone President, explained, "If you need to demonstrate a mobile application in a sales meeting, briefing, or training session, the ICD-1300 is very effective. With its low price, flexibility and portability, we expect it to become standard equipment in conference rooms as well as an ideal travel companion for CTIA, 3GSM and other mobile events." Project-a-Phone hardware securely clamps the phone in place and delivers a live video feed of the screen image to a PC through a USB cable. The Windows software displays live video, lets you record video and audio, takes still images individually or in a programmed sequence, and can display multiple screens simultaneously. The ICD-1300 package includes software and a carrying case. It costs $295 with quantity discounts and GSA pricing available. Product Specifications:
