The attractive Gigaset C470 and C475 phones offer superior design and functionality. These DECT phones include Siemens' new green technology. ECO DECT saves energy and reduces transmission power.

The Gigaset C470 and C475 not include an illuminated colour icon display, enhanced speaker phone with superior sound quality, headset connection and a phone directory with space for up to 150 entries. An exceptionally long battery life enables a talk time of up to 12 hours, which is ideal for users or businesses that frequently make long phone calls.

The Gigaset C475 also has an integrated digital answering machine with up to 40 minutes recording time and a new message notification feature that sends an SMS to your mobile to help ensure you never miss a call.   

With Siemens' new ECO-DECT technology, Gigaset C470 and C475 customers can expect to use up to 60% less energy in comparison to conventional handsets. For several years, Siemens Gigaset phones have reduced transmission power between the handset and base station depending on how far apart they are from each other.

The Gigaset C470 and C475 will go on sale in October 2007. An IP-hybrid-variant of both phones is planned for autumn The Gigaset C470 is priced at 69.99 Euro, the Gigaset C475 with answering machine at 79.99 Euro .
