Morito is introducing their Audio Bone Aqua waterproof headphone in Wireless Japan 2007

With its waterproof protection, Morito is bringing music to you no matter how bad the weather is. Bone conduction refers to the way in which sound is transmitted to the brain: not through the eardrum but through vibrations in the bones and skin tissues. Sound vibrations can be sent directly to the cochlea through the skull.

Currently the Audio Bone Aqua headphone connects to your music player or mobile phone via wires. The company is working on a bluetooth edition for more freedom. It will be available from August at around 80 USD.
