Sony today announced the launch of the 8GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, doubling the available recording space on the compact Memory Stick media. True to its multimedia credentials, the Memory Stick can store a large range of entertainment files, including more than 19 hours of MPEG-4 video for playback on a PSP (recorded at 768kbps), approximately 3000 digital photos with 10 Megapixel resolution (in Standard mode setting) or up to 2000 MP3 songs with an average length of 4 minutes (recorded at 128kbps).
Robust and capable of operating in extreme working conditions, the product includes a 5 year warranty for peace of mind. In addition, free file rescue software can be downloaded from www.sonydigital-link.com/memstick/ enabling quick recovery of photographs and other files which may have been lost or deleted. All Memory Stick PRO Duo media come complete with a standard size Memory Stick adaptor. Customers can refer to www.sonydigital-link.com/memstick/ for the latest compatibility information. The 8GB Memory Stick PRO Duo (MSX-M8GS) will be available from the beginning of February 2007. |
