NTT DoCoMo will start to sell their first Bone-Conduction Headset, Sound Leaf, which uses bone vibration in the skull to transmit sound to the auditory apparatus. This method allows greater loudness sensitivity so that phone users can hear the speaker's sound more easily in noisy surroundings when using the headset.
The Sound Leaf connect to NTT DoCoMO's FOMA handset through the wire connection. It has a size of 115 x 30 x 26.5 mm and weight 52 grams, not too bad to hold it with your hand. With a 2 AAA batteries you can use it as long as 25 hours (talk time!). The headset will probably let you hear clearly in a very noisy environment. NTT DoCoMO plans to sell it at around 85 USD start from 15th September. Pages (4): [1] 2 3 4 » ... Last » |
