Sharp announces tiny wireless LAN module with record low power consumption.

Sharp claim to have developed the smallest wireless LAN module with the lowest electricity consumption ever. The size of the chipset is only 8.0 x 7.6 x 1.3 mm and will only consume 0.3mW of power during standby.
