High picture quality engine "RealityMAX" in development... from Sony and Sony Ericsson

Sony Corporation and Sony Ericsson are working on a new graphic engine "RealityMAX" with a 16:9 ratio LCD screen. The new LCD feature a low temperature polysilicon TFT liquid crystal display modules. With a resolution of 240 x 432, Sony aims to complete the product with 256k colors output. It will also has up to 160 degree of the viewing angle. Using a wide screen will helps in reading emails and surfing web, of course not forgetting watching DVD rips or media broadcast on your mobile phone.

Since Sony Ericsson is involved in it, we can expect to see a wide screen Sony Ericsson mobile phone in coming future.
