The Nuvo robot which announced last year get updated with FOMA network support in Japan.
The Nuvo robot is capable of receiving voice command or through remote control. The 2.5kg robot can move up to 3 meter per min, connect to your wireless network or even let you receive stream video with your mobile phone as long as it is connected to internet. It has a 0.3 megapixel CMOS camera. The 390 x 350 x 120 mm size is just nice but the 1.5 hours of battery life got to be improved. AT Wireless Japan 2006, the company ZMP Inc. introduced an upgraded Nuvo robot (red color in the photo). The red robot accept an FOMA card behind its neck, it can now connect to you wirelessly by itself without any third party help.
