Fuel cell test unit is being demonstrated in Wireless Japan 2006.

While battery capacity is still lack of a breakthrough, portable fuel cell might come in handy for charging anywhere. Multimedia phones, DMB phones are energy hungry, with the introduction of fuel cell mobile phones can be charged on the go while you are on the road. NTT DoCoMO is presenting their latest prototype of fuel cell technology, the fuel cell bar can charge your mobile phones several times, and the recharging time is approximately the same as an AC adapter. Different capacity of fuel cells will be available when it goes retail.
