For those who has only miniSD slot on their smartphone, here is a good news. Spectec Taiwan is showing their new miniSD wireless card to sogi.com.tw and mention that it will be available very soon! The price will be around $100 - $110 USD which is quite fair for minimize the wireless module to such a small size. Currently Spectec only support Windows Mobile OS devices.

The miniSD wireless card was first appear in June this year when Spectec provide an image of the miniSD wireless card and some basic information. Now they have completed the development and currently looking for distributor around the world. When you can buy the card? Not sure. It will depends on your local distributor.

This is the first wireless card in miniSD format. Though not many pda or smartphone which have miniSD slot support IO interface. It looks like only iPAQ hw6515 have the supported slot?
