When focusing on phone camera, multimedia functions development, Murata is looking to create a super slim body speaker module for mobile phone using their 'piezoelectric sound components'.

The silver part in the demo unit is the speaker. Slim and short body provide more freedom on phone design. At a thickness of 1.1mm, the thin speaker use lower power consumption than usual speaker and at the same time, produce good quality of sounds.
