Transcend introduces the High-Speed MMC4.0 MultiMediaCard (MMCplus). This High-Speed Memory card is aimed at the next generation of cell phones and mobile devices. The revolutionary Transcend MMCplus card allows users to enjoy the newest MMC4.0 specification technology. The new MMCplus card offers data transfer speeds of 20MB/sec read and 17MB/sec write (Max.). In addition, the card is backward compatible with earlier versions of the MMC (MMC3.x) card.

The tiny MMCplus card is becoming increasingly popular as more mobile devices begin to incorporate a memory card slot as standard. Now you can save photos, MP3's, or even MPEG 4 video clips all to one MMC card and utilize these files on your next generation of cell phone, digital camera, or PDA. Transcend goes to great lengths to ensure that our Memory cards have the best compatibility and reliability; we ensure this by rigorously testing our cards with the complete range of cell phones, digital cameras and PDAs. You can therefore rest assured that Transcend’s 128MB~1GB MMCplus cards have the best compatibility and reliability.

Unlike other manufacturers, Transcend insists on only using original SLC (Single-Level-Cell) NAND Flash chips, which have higher write speeds, use less power and have superior reliability compared with MultiMediaCard made with MLC (Multi-Level-Cell) chips. Transcend’s MMCplus cards are the best choice of High-Speed memory cards for the next generation of mobile devices.
