Quickoffice and SoonR today announced a partnership to co-develop a client server solution which enables remote access and the ability to view, edit and share desktop content directly from a user's mobile device.

The service, branded 'Quickaccess,' will provide on-the-go professionals with the ability to access and share their entire content library stored on their laptop and desktop computers, including Office documents, slide show presentations and images, directly from their mobile phone.

Quickaccess eliminates the need to sync files to the phone and files can even be accessed when the computer is turned off. In addition, users can 'push' content from their phone to their PC with a seamless content management system. The Quickaccess service will be available to Symbian S60 users in early 2008
