iSkoot today announced that the iSkoot mobile software is now available on the Sony Ericsson P1i, which launched recently. The iSkoot mobile software is available to Sony Ericsson P1i users via a direct download service through the "more Applications" icon in the Phone User Interface. Sony Ericsson is supporting iSkoot to deliver mobile Skype features to its customers around the world.

iSkoot’s solution supports the Skype Software, and the collaboration between the two companies will offer Sony Ericsson users on any cellular network the ability to make Skype-to-Skype calls on their mobile phone at the same cost as making a local call and receive Skype calls at Skype’s call forwarding rates for mobile numbers.
