MySpace today announced an exclusive partnership with Rogers Wireless to offer MySpace functionality to Rogers Wireless customers on select mobile phones. The landmark deal marks MySpace’s first mobile partnership in Canada and gives Rogers Wireless customers exclusive access to MySpace Mobile’s rich tool set including the ability to edit MySpace profiles, view and add friends, post comments and blogs, send and receive MySpace messages - all from the mobile phone.

MySpace Mobile on Rogers Wireless provides the most compelling features and functionality of the MySpace global community, translated for an easy-to-use and feature-rich experience on a mobile device, including the ability to:

  • Post Comments or Blog Entries
  • Search for Friends
  • Respond to Mail
  • Update/Edit Profile
  • View Bulletins

The MySpace Canada site is fully localized and available online in both French (http://cf.myspace.com/) and English (http://ca.myspace.com/).

MySpace Canada’s local community is part of MySpace’s existing global network with localized sites in 18 international territories including the United States, UK, Japan, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Latin America, Switzerland, Sweden, and Austria.
