DataViz today announced the latest addition to the mobile Office editing suite: Documents To Go for BlackBerry (expected to ship later this year).

Documents To Go will enable users of BlackBerry from Research In Motion (RIM) to access, view, edit and create Native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on their devices. Native file support will provide users with the benefit and flexibility of using files and attachments regardless of how they are delivered to their BlackBerry smartphone.

In addition, Documents To Go will bring its revolutionary InTact Technology to retain complex file formatting when receiving, editing and sending files to and from a BlackBerry smartphone.  Documents To Go will provide an optimal user experience while simultaneously maintaining the integrity of the mobile document.

“We are excited to expand our Documents To Go product line to include BlackBerry smartphones,” said Dick Fontana, President of DataViz, Inc.  “BlackBerry customers can now have the same confidence editing and emailing native Office files as they would if they used the file right on their desktop.  We are excited to enter the BlackBerry ecosystem and deliver to the unique needs of the Blackberry customer.”
