O3SIS Information Technology announced the general availability of its Multi Channel Push Mail platform. This consumer-oriented push mail solution extends phone client support to virtually any mobile device, giving mobile operators a broad target market for mobile email as most subscribers can easily use the service with their existing mobile phones.

Already used by more than 1.5 million subscribers worldwide, O3SIS Multi Channel Push Mail represents the industry’s first push mail platform able to support multiple client technologies, including MMS, OMA-DS, OMA-EMN, P-IMAP, as well as native POP3, and IMAP4 clients.

Subscribers can add the service to their existing phones without having to invest in a new hardware. There’s no client software to install and the server automatically configures a new user’s phone right over the mobile network. And Multi Channel Push Mail enables users to mobilize their existing email accounts, eliminating the need to create and juggle separate email accounts for their mobile phone.

The launch of Multi Channel Push Mail platform also brings new features including advanced virus protection, spam filtering, user-defined white/blacklists, and the O3SIS Address Book that allows consumers to keep their contact entries synchronized across their PC and mobile phone, as updates are made automatically over the mobile network.
