Nokia UK has start to provide Update over-the-air service to update your phone directly without going to service center.

The Nokia software updater is now available for download in UK. Without an official announcement, the Nokia UK provide update over-the-air or via your pc by downloading the updates to your pc. Currently only Nokia 6131 support the update over-the-air tool, you will need to pay the data charge for the transfer of software updater. Other models including Nokia N70, N72, 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682 can be updated by downloading the update files through internet. The reason of why these phones do not support update over-the-air could be because of the updater filesize. The Nokia 6630 updater software is as large as 25MB.
