Alltel Wireless customers now can view e-mail attachments in their original format on their BlackBerry device from Research In Motion (RIM). DocHawk2 retains the original formatting of documents created in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat PDFs, and eFax.

"DocHawk2 enables our corporate customers to view attachments in their original format on their BlackBerry device while out of the office," said Elisabeth Owen, president of wireless business solutions for Alltel. "Given the critical need to respond quickly to customer requests, share and view business reports and presentations from anywhere, Alltel is delighted to make DocHawk2 available to our corporate BlackBerry customers."

DocHawk2 also enables BlackBerry users to view attachments as thumbnails or with five different zoom levels in true Acrobat or Microsoft format, making document navigation more efficient and intuitive. The BlackBerry 7130e and BlackBerry 7250 are available through Alltel's retail and business channels.
