SingTel's LIVECam allows users "real-time" viewing of what is happening on location through their 3G mobile phones, fixed line video phones as well as via their PCs and laptops.

"LIVECam is a great example of how we innovatively use technologies, such as 3G and broadband, to bring benefits to our customers. This service offers them convenience and peace of mind by letting them monitor events 'live' regardless of where they are, " said Ms Vicki Brady, SingTel's Vice President (Consumer Marketing). 

The monthly fee for the first LIVECam subscription starts at $5.25. Subsequent subscriptions cost $3.15 per month. Customers purchase the wired cameras at $365.40 and the wireless version at $438.90. A subscription is needed for each camera. As of 31 March 2006, SingTel had 130,000 3G subscribers and 352,000 broadband customers.
