Neopets.com has gone mobile

Beginning today, members can download Neopets Mobile to their Cingular Wireless phones to engage with the Neopets characters, stories and activities they connect with online. Neopets.com is themed around the ownership of, and interaction with, virtual pets that inhabit the mythical land of Neopia.

Through this W2W application, members of the Neopets community can use their mobile phones to do almost everything they can do on their desktops, including accessing their Neopets characters, managing their online accounts, buying and selling virtual items, exploring the world of Neopia, playing mini-games, and checking on their various pets while on the go.

Neopets.com has more than 30 million members worldwide and generates more than five billion page views per month. Nielsen//NetRatings (US at Home & Work, Domain) consistently ranks Neopets.com as one of the "stickiest" sites in the world, with members returning frequently to interact with each other and with their Neopets.

Neopets Mobile will be available exclusively through Cingular Wireless for the next three months. The game is available for a monthly subscription cost of $2.99 and kilobyte usage charges apply whenever it connects to Cingular MEdia Net. It will eventually be rolled out worldwide in seven different languages following its North American debut through Cingular Wireless.
