The Motorola MPx220 Features MotoPro Innovation Platform that will run the Microsoft Windows Mobile Smartphone 2003 operating system allows compatibility with all Windows Mobile Smartphone applications.

The clamshell form-factor design is easy for one-handed use.  The MPx220 includes all the great features one would expect from such a great device.  It is a Global Quad-Band which should work almost in all corners of the world.  There’s an integrated 1.3 mega pixel camera, 3x zoom, flash and timer.  Bluetooth® connectivity and speaker phone for hands free conversations.

It will have 64MB Flash ROM and a removable mini-SD card slot supporting up to 1 GB mini-SD cards for extra storage.  This is plenty of onboard memory to download new games, musical ring tones and business applications that takes advantage of J2ME™.

Other features include:

• Synchronization capabilities to keep Outlook (Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks) organized via Microsoft ActiveSync using integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, USB cable, or over-the-air via AirSync (requires compatible data service plan and Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 messaging environment)
• Advanced messaging with POP3, MulitMedia Messaging Service (MMS)! and Voice Messaging
• Advanced companion products including a professionally installed Bluetooth® Car Kit, 3rd Gen Bluetooth Headset, Bluetooth Stereo Headset, Bluetooth Headset (Rip Curl), Bluetooth Headset (Hammer) and Bluetooth SIHF Car Kit.
