Early observation reveals a QWERTY keyboard running vertically on the keypad which suggest that the screen is hinged and capable of being rotated into landscape view.

MPx300

CoolSmartPhone.com  revealed to the world the first leaked image of the MPx300, but unfortunately there are no details of the device.  Someone once said, "A picture is worth a thousand words," but in this instance, it raises a thousand questions.  All the questions seemed to revolve around the stylus next to the image of the device.  This strongly suggests that the operating system may be something other than Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone.  The MPx300 is speculated to be the first device to use the clamshell form-factor sporting the Phone Edition of Windows Mobile for Pocket PC. 

We can draw from the image that the MPx300 will have a small screen on the outside that provides the caller id, time and other information such as battery usage or signal strength. We can see that there is a built-in camera, a SD slot.
It’s also worth noting that there seem to be a pair of hinges that allow it to open in either of two directions.  This unique design allows the screen to be used in either portrait or landscape mode.   It’s still unclear as to how Microsoft will support the landscape mode for the MPx300.
