According to user smartphone2000 in the microsoft.public.smartphone newsgroup, a Motorola handset has been previewed which is based upon the Windows Mobile 2003 platform. Matt M at MTekk looks at a phone which may make a big splash ... The phone incorporates a camera, external display, and external keypad - and flips open horizontally to reveal a keyboard (in a manner very reminiscent of a Nokia Communicator).
Links to two articles have been provided - one Czechoslovakian , and one Italian . As we're unable to read either of them natively, we can only rely upon the MobilMania.cz article that mentions Windows Mobile for further corroboration to the newsgroup claim. It looks like a really innovative phone for the MS Smartphone platform. We assume that this is not the much-rumoured MPx220, but rather a further model to place Motorola into direct competition with the successful Nokia Communicator line. We'll keep you posted as further information emerges. Pages (3): [1] 2 3 » ... Last » |
