Remember those b/w grainy photocopied pictures that were released of the MPx220 model last month on a few Smartphone sites? Well, it turns out they are right, and all the specs are accurate as well[Quad band, ext antenna, bluetooth, SP 2003 OS, etc].

My sources at Motorola confirmed that the mpx220 will be ready to go to market in Feb, and will be showing up in the T-mobile product line in the USA at the end of Q1 2004. They may also have a model that will be showing up on ATT Wireless as well, but it might or might not be the mpx220 model, and might be another one like the mpx100 or mpx300. They weren't sure at this time. Either way, the Smartphone we have been waiting for is almost here! :-) No word on the SP 2003 upgrade for existing mpx200 users, but I was told it was already finalized, so it should be getting released in Q1 2004 as well. Emphasis on should.
