Sigh* of relief that the ET560 may be the first smart phone that does a great job at handling the delicate balance between data-centric and phone-centric smart phones. What do you think? Rate this device as well as the article.

MSMobiles initially reported that Chinese Legend Group corporation has introduced a Pocket PC phone that looks similar to a smartphone plus a rotable display - Lenovo ET560.  There's no use for a device such as the MPx200 smartphone to have a rotable display because it has no touchscreen, but with the Lenovo Pocket PC Phone Edition operating system such construction is extremely useful and gives you a feeling of having "a Tablet PC in a pocket".

Lenovo ET560 features & functions:

  • Dimensions : 107X65.5X24mm.
  • Weight : 176g.
  • GSM Dualband (900/1800MHz).
  • GPRS (General Packet Radio Service).
  • Support Bluetooth connectivity.
  • Intel X-Scale 400MHz processor.
  • Microsoft Mobile 2003 Operating System.
  • 64MB RAM.

  • Polyphonic ring tone.
  • Text input prediction software.
  • SD/SDIO/MMC card expansion slot.
