Leaked recently, the U.S. version of the UTStarcom SMT5800 picked up by Verizon. Possibly Green?

The UTStarcom SMT5800 is headed to the states, but apparently it's green as featured in the leak photo below.  To everyone's astonishment the SMT5800 was picked up by Verizon Wireless and no telling when it will be available.  Judging from screenshots the keys are oval shaped, which I'm not a fan of, and it's green.  Not a nice subtle green, but a really annoying green that nature can't create.


The previous SMT5800 (far below) is a neutral, gray shade with a QWERTY keyboard that you can actually text on.  What's the deal with the change-up to oval keys?  It just bothers some that a great phone is made more difficult to use, because the keys are oval and not comfortably placed where huge fingers can touch them.  Regardless of the color, which may or may not be a rumor, it's still a nice piece of technology.


The phone is upgradable to Rev A EV-DO and it features a 128MB flash memory, a 2MP camera, microSD, Bluetooth 2.0, 96MB ram, and I'm sure it's a PocketPC with touchscreen.  The masses will opt for the gray, metallic, high-tech color phone and if Verizon fully goes through with the SMT5800 the color will hopefully change.
