A Singapore-based company, DOML, sent me their screen protector - the Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector - to review on my XDA II. ResponsivenessI tend to agree with one of our forum users when he mentioned that he felt the WriteSHIELD - due to its thickness - impaired responsiveness to the stylus slightly. Not much, but noticeable enough. I can't say for certain that the Martin Fields overlay is perfect - but it's a definite improvement. I'm happy with how easy it feels to operate the XDA II with my stylus while using the device - and this might just be the biggest factor for me. Although the WriteSHIELD is only a slight impairment, I do get aches and pains in my hands from prolonged use of the stylus. While I don't think a different screen protector will resolve that, it might help a little. The less friction, and the less pressure that needs to be applied, the longer it will take for me to have a problem.
ResistanceNo major qualms here as yet. But that's what the follow up review is for - resistance to wear and tear. A day of use will hardly give me enough feedback to make any clear decision here. Pages (6): « First « 1 2 3 [4] 5 6 » ... Last » |
