MPx200.org - New Look, new website design, new name, new vision.
I invite you to come and see the kick-off of some major changes at MPx200.org. We are beginning a series of changes designed to provide you with a better mobile information source. MPx200.org is becoming MobileGadgetNews.com (http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com)
What you will be looking at, is the first phase in a major plan that the other editors and I will be embarking on over the next 7-8 months. You can look forward to the continuing coverage of MPx200 and SmartPhone news, information and reviews that you have become accustomed to, but soon there will be a lot more. Here is some of what you will be seeing soon:
Near term, look for expanded news coverage to include not only SmartPhones but PocketPC Phone Edition devices. We will have custom tailored news pages for each of these platforms so you will be able to view the news that suits you the best. While doing this we will be expanding the forums, FAQs, web links, and downloads sections to help accommodate our new visitors.
Over the months to come, we plan to add a Pocket PC section allowing us to cover the entire Microsoft Windows Mobile world. Thereafter, we foresee us adding sections devoted to Palm and even Symbian-based phones. End result: we provide to you the best new coverage and product information for "smartphones" as a whole.
A few things to note, there is no need to change your current bookmarks if you don't want to. The MPx200.org domain name is still active and will still point to this site (so does mpx220.org, sph-i600.org, ussmartphones.com, and of course MobileGadgetNews.com, net, and org) Some of you may also be uneasy with change so, if you would like to keep the old look for your visits to the site, you can select that interface by clicking on "my account" in the main menu and the selecting "Select Theme."
I and the editorial staff would like to thank you for your support and involvement with this site so far. I know that I am very excited for changes to come and I hope that it provides a better user experience from here on out.
