The 9500 smart phone supports triband/EDGE with Bluetooth and Wireless LAN access, running Symbian 7.0S. Nokia has finally revealed today the details of the new 9500, since the 9210 Communicator first appeared on the market three years ago. Expect the 9500 to launch in autumn, costing approximately 800 euro.
The 9500 supports triband and GPRS/EDGE, running Symbian 7.0S. It weighs 222 grams and dimensions are 148 by 57 by 24 mm. Users can connect to the internet via built in Wi-Fi 802.11b. There are two displays, both have 65K colors. The inside screen has a resolution of 640x200 points and the interface customer Series 80, while the outside display has a resolution of 128x128 points and the interface customer Series 40. There is an integrated VGA digital camera, built in Bluetooth, e-mail clients supprot POP3 and IMAP. Web browser supports HTML/XHTML, HTML 4,01 and Javascript. The enterprise also support SSL/TLS, Ipsec VPN protocal. Managing electronic documents, spreadsheets and multimedia presentations should be a snap with the 9500.
