Nokia is currently presenting their upcoming web browser in 3G World Congress & Exhibition. The new Web browser is available to S60 licensees as part of the S60 3rd Edition offering.

The new Web browser for S60 is based on the WebCore and JavaScriptCore components of Apple's Safari Web Kit, the industry's smallest and fastest open source full Web rendering engine for mobile devices that Apple uses in its popular Safari Internet browser. Nokia E60, Nokia E61, Nokia E70, Nokia 3250, Nokia N80, Nokia N71 and Nokia N92 will be the first to have the new browser.

Preservation of the original page layout, presented just as the Web site designers intended; Instead of render the webpage to small size like other pocket browser, you are actually viewing the whole webpage in a small screen. Zoom in the section you want to read by moving the box around the whole page.

Visual History, an easy-to-use back function, showing miniature views of previous pages; Like a slide show, you can nagivate the history left or right and select the history you want to go to.
